Docker Basics

About this event

Come out to the first Docker Meetup in Blacksburg!  Since many folks are brand new to Docker, we will be starting off with the basics.  A rough agenda is outlined below, although it may be subject to change.

Make sure to bring your laptops, as we will do some hands-on stuff.  We're hoping to have pizza, but still looking for a sponsor/coupons.  If you have ideas/recommendations/desire to sponsor, leave a comment or message an organizer!

- What is Docker and how can I use it?
- Use Case:  Presentation on how Summit (Virginia Tech team) is using Docker for QA
- Hands-on:  Installing Docker and Getting Started on your machine
- Meet and Greet!
