About this event

Docker is an open-source tool that automates the deployment of an application inside a software container.

This event is an introductory training session on Docker containers. By the end of this training, you will know how to use Docker containers and build Docker images on your local machine. We will Dockerize at least two (2) real-world example apps written in Python, NodeJS and PHP.  To Dockerize these example apps, we assume that you are familiar with the basic concepts of these technologies. There will be lots of shell examples, so go ahead and open the terminal and learn more about shell scripting, Python, NodeJS and PHP.

Please visit the link below and complete the form to select the top 3 frameworks that you would like us to dockerize.

Bring your laptop and #LearnDocker. Food and drinks will be provided! Let everyone know you’re coming by using #LearnDocker.
