About this event

Docker is an open-source tool that automates the deployment of an application inside a software container.

This event is an introductory training session on Docker containers. By the end of this training, you will know how to use Docker containers and build Docker images on your local machine. We will Dockerize a real-world example app written in React and perform acceptance testing for that app. To Dockerize these example apps, we assume that you are familiar with the basic concepts of these technologies. There will be lots of shell examples, so go ahead and open the terminal and learn more about shell scripting, Python, NodeJS and PHP.

Please bring your laptop with Docker installed and the node image downloaded.

Food and drinks will be provided! Let everyone know you’re coming by using #LearnDocker.
