March's Meetup hosted by Google for Startups Campus sponsored by Codemotion:
19:10 Iñaki Respaldiza: Free or Not Free, That is the Question (in Spanish)
Free licenses are one of the pillars of free software projects, such as Docker. Without them, it could not be guaranteed that the work of developers and communities will continue to be free.
In this session, we will analyze the implications of the docker license: Apache Version 2.0.
Iñaki Respaldiza is DevOps for BBVA. He is very involved in several free software communities, and he is a Community Leader of Docker in Seville.
19:45 Javier Provecho: Security hardening for some Kubernetes flavors (in Spanish)
In this session we'll analyze multiple Kubernetes services/flavors deployed with default settings, where we will explore strategies to discover their weaknesses, some of them could lead to a complete ownership takeout, and we'll learn how to patch one by one each of the weaknesses in our clusters.
Javier Provecho works at Telefónica, at the core of the 4th platform, and engage with the community as a Cloud GDE and open source maintainer. He is passionate about new technologies and methodologies around the CNCF.
